Are you experiencing any of the below feelings?
- Loneliness or isolation?
- Nothing will ever get better?
- What you’re carrying on your shoulders and your chest is heavier than what you can bear?
- You want to shout out loud and share your feelings and thoughts, but you are afraid there is no one to listen or support you?
If you are experiencing any of the above, know that you’re not alone…
We all, at some stage in our lives, may face difficult situations and life challenges. It may be related to our relationships, loss of a loved one, adaptation, education, employment, conflicts with family members, illness, or questioning our gender. Facing these challenges may make us lose hope and focus and our ability to track our daily life tasks.
These feelings may lead us to think, nothing will ever change or get better, or there is no bright tomorrow in our future. What’s important is the way we view things and with whom we can share our most personal thoughts, feelings, and fears, at times when we are most fragile and vulnerable.
At this point, what we need is support, hope, someone to listen to us and witness our pain without being judgmental. Someone to simply be there by our side, understanding our pain and helping us better be aware of what is going on in our life journey.
What’s important is the way we view things and with whom we can share our most personal thoughts, feelings, and fears, at times when we are most fragile.
